Introduction [Biosketch]
- Dr. Mokaddes Ali Ahmed is a Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at National Institute of Technology Silchar. He completed his Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree with Honours in Civil Engineering from Regional Engineering College Silchar (NIT Silchar) in 1990. After BE, he earned his Master of City Planning (MCP) degree from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur in 1994. He completed his Ph.D. from the Department of Architecture and Regional Planning, Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur in 2004. He joined REC Silchar as a lecturer in 1993. He served in the Department of Architecture and Regional Planning, IIT Kharagpur as Assistant Professor during 2007-08 on lien from NIT Silchar. In 2008, he joined back NIT Silchar as Associate Professor. Till date, he is serving NIT Silchar.
